HI! Thanks for coming to check out my new viewing gallery. I am so excited to share my portfolio with you!
I love taking pictures! I find it amazing that as a photographer, I get to be apart of the special moments in life and capture them to be cherished forever. Photography has always been a passion of mine that started when I got my first SLR camera as a gift, the Pentax SF10. I wanted to take pictures of everything, and probably did! I thought of photography as a fun hobby, taking pictures of my friends and family at gatherings or simply catching them off gaurd in candid shots. It wasn't until several years ago, when I got into digital photography that I thought seriously about taking my passion for photography and turning it into a fun and exciting profession.
I have never been taught how to be a photographer. All that I have learned thus far has come from getting out there and practice, practice, practice. I have however recently became a student of New York Institute of Photography where I am learning about all the new tricks and techniques that will definately enhance my photography skills. I do trust my "picture eyes" and am never afraid to get a little messy if that is what it takes to get the best shot!
